Grade 2 (TA2) titanium welding wire is a high-performance commercially pure titanium product, specially designed for titanium material welding and filling applications. It complies with the American standard ASTM B863 (the exclusive standard for titanium welding wire), with complete ASTM certification and customizable MTR (Material Test Report) available upon request. As the most widely used commercially pure titanium welding wire grade, Grade 2 titanium welding wire features excellent corrosion resistance—far superior to carbon steel and stainless steel in harsh environments such as seawater, chemical media (acids/alkalis), and chloride solutions. It also has good plasticity (elongation ≥20%) and outstanding weldability, ensuring smooth welding forming, no cracks, and high joint strength (tensile strength ≥240MPa, yield strength ≥170MPa) after welding. This product is the preferred filling material for titanium welding in chemical, marine and pressure vessel industries: widely used in welding of chemical reactors, titanium structural parts of offshore platforms, pressure vessel welding, desalination equipment, and pharmaceutical equipment. We offer customized specifications: diameter Φ0.8mm-Φ4.0mm (common sizes: Φ1.0mm, Φ1.2mm, Φ1.6mm), available in coil (5kg/10kg/20kg per coil) or straight rod forms, and provide full compliance documents including ASTM B863 certification, MTR with complete chemical composition and welding performance data, and welding process guidance for different scenarios.
