Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V/TA18) titanium tube is a high-performance α+β titanium alloy product, widely recognized as the most commonly used titanium alloy tube in industrial applications. It complies with American standards ASTM B338 (for seamless titanium tubes) and ASTM B861 (for welded titanium tubes), with complete ASTM certification and customizable MTR (Material Test Report) available upon request. Composed of 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium, Grade 9 titanium tube balances exceptional mechanical strength and excellent weldability—its tensile strength ≥620MPa and yield strength ≥550MPa, far superior to pure titanium tubes (Grade 1/2), while maintaining good plasticity and formability for bending, flanging and other processing. It also retains outstanding corrosion resistance in marine, chemical and atmospheric environments. This product is the preferred material for high-strength and lightweight applications, widely used in aerospace (hydraulic pipeline systems), automotive industry (brake/ fuel lines), marine engineering (offshore pipeline accessories), and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
